Perugia2000
Leonardo Matteucci (Perugia, 2000) is an Italian composer exploring inner corporeality, the mechanics of bodily articulation, and the tactility of acoustic–electronic hybridisation. He studied composition with Giorgio Colombo Taccani at the Conservatory of Turin (2019–2021) and with Marco Momi at the Conservatory of Fermo, where he completed his studies in 2023 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Composition in 2024. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Composition with Franck Bedrossian at Kunstuniversität Graz. His music has been performed by Quartetto Maurice, Collettivo_21, and Opificio Sonoro. His artistic development has also been shaped by participation in masterclasses and workshops with composers, performers, and ensembles including Marco Stroppa, Clara Iannotta, Pierluigi Billone, Francesca Verunelli, Mauro Lanza, Oscar Bianchi, mdi ensemble, Michele Marco Rossi, Francesco Dillon, Anssi Karttunen, and Lucas Fels. In 2025, he curated Reach.Touch. at KULTUM in Graz, a concert project featuring PPCM instrumentalists and KUG composers, supported by the Hinker-Fonds, Land Steiermark, the ÖH-KUG Sonderprojekttopf, and Kunstuniversität Graz.
